Question 1: How should a student approach their teacher when asking for assistance in raising their grade?

Answer 1: Do not approach them with an heir of entitlement, they will most likely disregard your request if you are rude or disrespectful in your inquiry. Enter the conversation with grace and politeness, then simply ask for assistance. Establish that you are willing to work for that grade improvement. Ask for extra credit and make up any missing assignments even for partial credit. This will show your instructor that you are willing to put in time and effort into raising your grade, thus making them more inclined to provide you with the appropriate assistance.

Answer 2: Beyond high school, many students feel overwhelmed by the wave of adulthood responsibilities. A great way to maintain focus after high school is to list all of your aspirations. Allow yourself to celebrate the small achievements, these minor victories encourage you to continue towards achieving you larger goals. This system of self-encouragement helps fuel your efforts to achieve your goals. It is important to know that you can reach your aspirations.
